About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled engineer to design and develop gas turbine components and assemblies. As a Turbomachinery Engineer, you'll be responsible for performing FEA simulations and basic calculations to support the design process, participating in technical investigations, and collaborating with our supply chain to set up and qualify suppliers and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop gas turbine components and assemblies
  • Perform FEA simulations and basic calculations to support the design process
  • Participate in technical investigations and collaborate with the supply chain
  • Set up and qualify suppliers and manufacturing processes
  • Manage development projects and tasks, and mentor junior engineers
  • Provide technical support to the supply chain, operations, and field service
Requirements
  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Working knowledge of mechanical design of gas turbine components
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Software skills, including SolidWorks or equivalent
  • Experience with FEA and knowledge of high-temperature materials and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of lifetime assessments of gas turbine components is an advantage
  • Important competencies include written and verbal communication skills, results-driven approach, initiative, knowledge, and problem-solving
