At SMART Photonics, we are pioneering advancements in the photonics industry. As an Indium Phosphide foundry specializing in Photonic Integrated Circuits, our cutting-edge technology uniquely integrates semiconductor lasers, amplifiers, detectors, and high-speed modulators. This enables us to create state-of-the-art solutions for optical communications and diverse sensing applications, addressing major societal challenges across sectors such as communication, automotive LiDAR, and medical applications.

We are expanding our PMO team and seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Lead to lead our most challenging and complex projects. This role is crucial in driving our success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project platforms that support business strategies, managing cross-functional, multi-company, and intercontinental teams.
  • Innovate management techniques for multicultural and virtual teams, ensuring effective mentoring and coaching.
  • Maintain C-level stakeholder relationships and identify potential new business models with external stakeholders.
  • Advocate for an Agile and results-oriented mindset across the company, fostering a program management culture and contributing to positive cultural change.
  • Promote a winning mindset and enthusiasm throughout the organization.
  • Grow the business through innovative partnerships.
  • Champion a talent management culture.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in a technical field or PMO-related discipline.
  • Over 10 years of experience in senior project management within a technical, complex business environment.
  • Preferably, knowledge of MEMS, semiconductors, and/or high-volume manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to translate market insights into enterprise strategies.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting complex concepts to senior leadership and diverse audiences.
  • An independent drive to take responsibility, ownership, and foster innovative partnerships.
