Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Software Test Engineer to join our team at Trinamics Beheer B.V. in Utrecht. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through robust testing and automation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases to identify and resolve defects.
  • Design and maintain automated test scripts using Python to ensure efficient testing and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and specifications, and to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing to identify and resolve defects, and to enhance test coverage.
  • Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to improve test coverage and ensure software quality.
  • Execute regression tests and analyze test results to identify areas for improvement.
  • Document and report software defects and anomalies, and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience in software testing and test automation, with a strong focus on Python.
  • Proficiency in unit testing frameworks and experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tools and practices.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • ISTQB or similar certifications (preferred but not required).
