Technical Software Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Technical Software Test Engineer at Trinamics Beheer B.V., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement robust test plans and test cases, leveraging your expertise in Python for test automation. You will collaborate closely with the development team to understand software requirements and specifications, conduct unit testing and integration testing to identify and resolve defects, and implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices to enhance test coverage. Additionally, you will execute regression tests and analyze test results for continuous improvement, identify, document, and report software defects and anomalies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, proven experience in software testing and test automation, strong expertise in Python for test automation, proficiency in unit testing frameworks, experience with BDD tools and practices, a solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, and strong communication and collaboration skills. ISTQB or similar certifications are preferred but not required.
