Barge Operations Specialist

As a Barge Execution Specialist, you will oversee the execution of the terminal supply schedule, ensuring timely communication and flawless implementation. You will liaise daily with logistic service providers and terminals to inform them of load and discharge schedules, collaborate closely with traders regarding contract positions, and manage the accurate processing of Bill of Ladings and Certificates of Analysis to ensure compliance and documentation consistency.
Your ProfileTo fulfill the content of this job, the ideal candidate has:
- Education to at least MBO level, ideally in a commercial or logistics discipline;
- Experience with ERP systems and a background or strong interest in oil trading, particularly with an understanding of its financial implications;
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English required and knowledge of German a plus;
- Highly organized and detailed-oriented, capable of managing complex logistics and data processing tasks with precision.
