About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and experienced chef de parti to join our team at The Seafood Bar. As a chef de parti, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of seafood dishes are presented to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook seafood dishes to a high standard.
  • Assist with kitchen preparations and mise en place.
  • Run your section during service, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Participate in kitchen cleanup after service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a chef de parti.
  • Registration with the Chamber of Commerce and a valid VAT number.
  • Ability to issue professional invoices on a weekly or monthly basis.
  • Availability for 20-40 hours per week.
  • Willingness to work weekdays and weekends.
  • Proficiency in Dutch or English.
  • Familiarity with hygiene and food safety regulations (HACCP).

We offer a competitive rate between 24 and 28 euros per hour excluding taxes, plus a share in tips. You will also have opportunities for advancement to sous-chef on payroll.
