Are you ready to unleash your passion for positive change and join a dynamic team that values your future success? We're looking for a talented Supply Chain Initiative Specialist Intern to join our international headquarters in Utrecht, starting in September 2024.

About the Role

As a Supply Chain Initiative Specialist Intern, you will play a key role in one of our optimization projects, learning how JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS is digitalizing our current way of working in the world of innovation. Your key activities will include:

  • Running or weekly/monthly reports
  • Analyzing the current way of reporting and suggesting improvements
  • Participating in a digitalization project, defining objectives, timelines, resources, etc.
  • Running a phase-in phase-out plan
  • Participating in team meetings

What We Offer

Requirements

We're looking for a talented individual with a structured approach, a driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. You should have:

  • Academic program: Enrolled in a MSc program for the entirety of the internship, preferably in Supply Chain, Data Analysis, or a related field.
  • Skillset: Strong MS Office skills and fluent proficiency in speaking and written English – Having some similar hands-on experience with food research activities is always a benefit.
  • Personal traits: A driven and energetic personality, excellent communication and people skills, and the ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Commitment: Ready to dedicate at least 5 months to this internship, preferably from the 2nd of September to January.
  • Availability: Able to join the internship for 5 days per week, including 2-3 days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.

Eligibility Criteria

Your internship should be included in your study curriculum and directly contribute to your academic results. Your educational institution should be willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships. You should be either an EU(EEA) student residing in the Netherlands during the internship or a Non-EU(EEA) student enrolled and living in the Netherlands during the internship.
