About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Business Control Transformation initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business process improvements, leading cross-functional teams, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance our business control capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transformation Initiatives:
- Lead end-to-end project management of Business Control Transformation initiatives, including process design and reengineering, system implementations, and organizational change management.
- Collaborate with the Central BPO & Transformation organization to ensure clear RACI on deliverables and execution of system developments by the BPO team.
- Strive for effective and efficient Business Control end-to-end work process design, synchronizing well and closely coordinating between organizations, systems, and policy/governance.
- Personnel Costs Consolidation:
- Oversee a team of 2 responsible for development and consolidation of personnel costs forecasts and plans, working closely with all business controllers.
- Accountable for creation of plans for other personnel cost models, including incentives, bonus, social charges/pension, personnel allowances, recruiting fees, other benefits, relocation, etc.
- Develop forecasted compensation rates, working in close collaboration with Payroll and Comp & Ben, and create a forecast accuracy dashboard with remediations on deviations.
- Process & Framework:
- Coordinate calendar of Business Control activities, harmonization of KPI and report out, and align with other enabling functions on end-to-end operational flows.
- Set reporting and analytical standards and address gaps for the business control group in terms of reporting process, preparing variance analysis, management reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Set standards for approval and creation of investments business cases for non-revenue related investments (OPEX).
- Planning Tooling-Infrastructure Implementation:
- Collaborate with FP&A leadership to ensure Business Control systems and flow of data across the company ecosystem evolves to remain fit for purpose and aligned with other business applications.
- Define user cases enhancements in our planning tools for prioritization by FP&A steerco.
- Project Management:
- Responsible for the deployment within the business of new releases and features in the area of business control management.
- Define user requirements in the area of scope, execution of testing plans of approved projects.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of relevant post-qualified FP&A experience in a global organization, related e-commerce, and/or commercial companies, with a strong affinity with Business Control scope.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Professional qualification in lean & Agile techniques and Project Management is a valued plus (e.g. PMP, CAPM, Prince2).
- Strong communication and analytical skills, being able to influence without hierarchical power, manage upward, and be creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders.
