About the Job

Gibson Brands, a world-renowned guitar manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled EMEA Retail Finance Controller to join its finance team in Amersfoort. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the financial direction of our retail operations across Europe, ensuring the company's continued growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all financial aspects of our retail operations, including accounting, bookkeeping, and GAAP compliance
  • Monitor and optimize inventory levels, reconciling POS systems with our ERP
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and budgets, including liquidity and balance sheet analysis
  • Conduct profit/loss analysis and modeling, and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to drive growth and develop retail business cases

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a retail environment
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and POS systems
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
