Job Title: Competence Manager - Software and Electronics

We are seeking a highly skilled Competence Manager to join our Development & Engineering team at NTS-Group. As a Competence Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical competences and skills of our team members to meet the short- and long-term project needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement competence development plans to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify training needs and develop training programs to address those needs.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process for technical talent to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise.
  • Develop and maintain a competence roadmap to ensure the team is aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to help them develop their technical skills and competences.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the team's competences are aligned with the company's overall strategy.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree or PhD in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Electronics or similar).
  • At least five years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably in a multidisciplinary high-tech context.
  • Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art mechatronics, product and process level technologies.
  • Experience with leading a group of professionals and in coaching juniors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
