Job Title: People Services Advisor

We're looking for a People Services Advisor to join our team at Arcadis, a leading international organization that delivers sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.

Job Summary:

The People Services Advisor will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of people strategies that drive business results. This includes providing expert advice on employee relations, talent management, and organizational development. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Dutch employment legislation and regulation, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive, timely, and high-quality employee relations advisory service to employees and managers
  • Support the development and implementation of people strategies that drive business results
  • Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to identify and address people-related issues
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee relations, talent management, and organizational development
  • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to the business and business partners
  • Support change initiatives, including acquisitions, restructures, redundancies, redeployment, and office closures
  • Provision and analysis of management information to the business to inform decision making
Requirements:
  • Academic degree in human resources or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive human resources experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Dutch employment legislation and regulation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with business partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to provide coaching and guidance to managers
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights to inform decision making
