About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Research and Development Intern.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development activities to improve the functionality and performance of plant-based cheese matrices.
- Collaborate with the Hydrocolloids team to optimize starch functionality and develop high-quality products.
- Map a range of starches at different rheological conditions and link this starch functionality to the plant-based cheese structure, texture, and performance.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of chemical compositions, structures, and functional properties of starch.
Requirements
- Master's student in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or a similar field at a Dutch university.
- Critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Preferably, prior experience with rheology and/or starches.
