About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Controller to join our EMEA HQ finance team in Hoofddorp. As a key member of our team, you will support the Finance Team in financial reporting and controlling activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the finance team in financial closing procedures for 5 reporting entities, ensuring reconciliation of sales, controlling of accrued and prepaid positions, and other relevant closing procedures.
  • Perform cost controlling and analysis on various areas such as rebates and SG&A.
  • Assist in the planning process, forecasting P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash-Flow.
  • Coordinate the internal audit process, providing support in documentation and review of standard operating procedures.
  • Own the non-stock purchase order process, supporting users and following up on outstanding issues.
Requirements
  • A relevant bachelor's degree, e.g., in accounting or control.
  • At least 2-4 years' work experience in an international commercial environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel (advanced user).
  • Knowledge of relevant ERP systems, preferably JD Edwards.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Effective communication skills and self-starter with a proven track record of taking initiative.
  • Strong analytical thinking and flexibility in a matrix organization.
