Join FMO and contribute to creating development finance solutions in areas where financial support is highly necessary. As a Business Control Analyst, you will be part of the Public Investment and Blended Finance team (PIM) that creates partnerships to provide development finance solutions.

The PIM team uses external concessional funds that we directly manage and external funds managed by third parties with FMO's supervision. You will help us enhance the implementation and maintenance of an integrated control framework to improve steering and increase the effectiveness of PIM activities.

Your tasks will include helping the PIM team manage the allocation of funds given to third parties, executing desk reviews and on-the-spot checks over delegated activities, and documenting and reporting on the monitoring tasks performed.

You will also monitor compliance of our development bank with accreditation standards and report thereof to the P4i MT, ensure effective liaisons with Internal Audit, Compliance, and Risk functions, address and coordinate the resolution of audit findings, RCSA action items, and risk events, facilitate control effectiveness testing on the P4i control framework, and provide regular updates to the P4i MT on the commitments established and the progress achieved.

Additionally, you can enjoy premium free pension, 31 holidays based on a full-time basis working week, working remotely abroad for 60 days in a rolling period of 12 months, and hybrid way of working (50/50).

In order to succeed in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in the financial sector, especially in Audit/Compliance or related fields. A Bachelor's degree in finance, audit, economics, business administration, or related fields is also required. Excellent command of English language is essential; proficiency in Dutch preferred.

Familiarity with industry developments in fund management and the related regulatory frameworks is also necessary. You should be able to translate comprehensive regulations and conditions into practical application and demonstrate highest professional standards regarding business ethics, integrity, and transparency.
