Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team as an Assistant Professor in Data and Artificial Intelligence. The successful candidate will be part of the Data and Artificial Intelligence cluster at Eindhoven University of Technology, where we study the foundations of AI for the present and the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality academic research in AI and data science, with a focus on explainable AI and data mining.
  • Teach and contribute to teaching processes in AI and data science, developing excellent teaching skills.
  • Collaborate with our team of researchers and engineers to develop new AI methods and algorithms.
  • Lead projects and chair groups, demonstrating effective communication and leadership skills.
Requirements
  • PhD in machine learning, data mining, or a relevant field.
  • Ability to conduct high-quality academic research, with demonstrable outputs.
  • Motivated to teach and contribute to teaching processes.
  • Strong cooperation and communication skills.
  • Effective leadership and mentoring skills.
