Transforming the Future of Food
Marel is a world leader in advanced food processing solutions, and we're looking for a talented Shipping Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Supply Chain, you'll be responsible for the End-to-End delivery performance within both Spare Parts and Equipment deliveries to End-customers in the local regions (Americas, Europe) and globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Align and standardize processes, Standard Operating Procedures, Delivery Service Offerings, KPIs, and digitalization following the globally defined ways of working.
- Monitor and analyze monthly freight cost to explain the financial development and approve carrier invoices.
- Ensure financial and custom compliance in terms of Export Registration, use of HS codes, Incoterms, Country of origin, Certificates, etc.
- Support Procurement and Manufacturing on inbound flow into Marel from external suppliers.
- Lead a department of 3 shipping engineers and be responsible for the day-to-day management of the individuals in this team.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics or relevant work experience.
- Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization.
- Fluent in English both verbal and in writing.
- Experience with ERP systems, PENTA is an advantage.
