Job Title: Shipping Manager

Are you a logistics expert looking for a challenging role in a dynamic company? Marel is seeking a skilled Shipping Manager to join our team

About the Role:

  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery performance of spare parts and equipment to customers in the Americas, Europe, and globally.
  • Work closely with Procurement, Sales & Order Fulfillment team to align and standardize processes, SOPs, and KPIs.
  • Lead a department of 3 shipping engineers and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Report to the Global Logistics Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of green field projects and work with differentiated spare part offerings.
  • Implement globally aligned KPIs to drive end-to-end delivery performance.
  • Monitor and analyze monthly freight costs.
  • Ensure financial and customs compliance.
  • Support Procurement and Manufacturing on inbound flow from external suppliers.
  • Manage HR-related tasks for the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics or relevant work experience.
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience with ERP systems, PENTA is an advantage.
