About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead the development and production of cutting-edge technology in the MEMS-based timing space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Test Automation: Develop and implement test automation for the production release of mixed-signal MEMS devices.
  • Verification and Characterisation Planning: Develop and execute verification and characterisation plans for new products.
  • Experimentation and Validation: Conduct experiments to prototype and validate new system architectures and technologies.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Mentor and guide junior engineering team members.
  • Collaboration and Design: Collaborate on the design and validation of PCB test platforms and associated firmware.
  • Algorithm Development: Develop and refine algorithms for integration into production environments.
  • Implementation and Support: Support the implementation of programming systems in overseas locations.
  • Engineering Analysis: Work closely with design teams to evaluate new silicon and suggest improvements.
  • Failure Analysis: Perform in-depth engineering failure analysis to resolve product issues.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Education: MS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; PhD preferred. Exceptional candidates with other technical backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Experience: Experience in the development and production of MEMS or sensor-based devices.
  • Verification and Characterisation: Proven experience in creating and executing verification and characterisation plans.
  • Leadership: Strong track record in leading engineering project teams.
  • Mixed-Signal Circuits: Solid understanding of mixed-signal circuits.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming, particularly in Python and MATLAB.
  • Lab Instrumentation: Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and signal analyzers.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent statistical analysis and problem-solving skills.

  • Programming Expertise: Expertise in programming microcontrollers, C/C++, and SQL.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
