System Engineer – Delft

We are seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to join our team in Delft, Netherlands. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of the Above Water Warfare System (AWWS) for a specific customer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding and managing Customer requirements
- Contributing to system modeling and design through Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
- Providing solutions to technical questions from internal/external stakeholders
- Building up and maintaining the knowledge base of subsystems
- Taking leadership to build your own multi-site network within Thales
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering, computer science, aerospace engineering or similar field
- At least five years experience in system engineering
- Generalist with a broad interest in technology
- Good communication skills towards internal and external stakeholders
- Good level of initiative, pragmatism, and persuasiveness
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Dutch, or willing to learn Dutch
- Flexible with respect to business trips to stakeholders in The Netherlands and abroad
