About the Role

We're seeking an ambitious HR Intern to join our HR Operations team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for providing administrative support, pre-boarding and onboarding new hires, benefits administration, employee relations support, and participating in HR projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Operations team, including data entry, file maintenance, and document preparation.
  • Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing onboarding materials and coordinating orientation sessions.
  • Assist in benefits administration tasks, such as enrollment, changes, and inquiries, and liaise with benefits providers as necessary.
  • Provide support in handling employee inquiries, concerns, and requests, escalating issues to the appropriate HR personnel when necessary.
  • Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned, such as process improvements, policy development, or employee engagement activities.
  • Support the HR Operations team in handling different tasks using available tools.
  • Act as the spokesperson for the HQ & BNL Internship Program, ensuring its smooth operation and acting upon feedback from key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Student (Bachelor/Master) with a strong affinity for the beauty industry and dynamic environment.
  • Analytical skills, good with numbers, and strong Excel skills.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach, with a willingness to provide added value.
  • Flexible and loves challenges, with good administrative and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
What We Offer

We offer a full-time internship (40 hours per week) for a duration of 5-6 months, starting from August/September 2024. Remote working is possible up to 50% of your time, in alignment with your line manager. You'll receive an internship allowance and NS Business Card if you don't have a student public transport card. The internship can be combined with a thesis, but this will largely have to be done in your own time.
