About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to join our Data & Technology Services department at Eneco. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming Eneco's projects into stable, robust productionized data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Building and maintaining data pipelines, including working in the evening or weekend as needed
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies to deliver efficient solutions for the business
  • Supporting the Product Owner and Manager in growing and developing the Data Engineering team
  • Acting as a thought leader on Data Engineering within the organization, staying current on the latest developments
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a Data Engineering role
  • Academic work and thinking level
  • Experience with Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and TimescaleDB
  • Knowledge of concepts/components such as warehouse, data lake, data mesh, data vault, data fabric, and streaming solutions
What We Offer

Gross annual salary between €79,000 and €108,000, including FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and depending on your role, a bonus or collective profit sharing.
