Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer to lead our Data Engineering team in developing and maintaining complex data pipelines. As a Lead Data Engineer, you will be responsible for shaping the team's strategy, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality data-driven solutions. Your expertise in data engineering, architecture, and technology will be essential in driving our company's digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Data Engineering team in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality data products and services that meet business needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in data engineering and architecture.
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
  • Strong expertise in data engineering tools and technologies, including Cassandra, PostgreSQL, and TimescaleDB.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Snowflake, Azure, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Java.
  • Knowledge of data concepts, including warehouse, data lake, data mesh, data vault, data fabric, and streaming solutions.
What We Offer
  • Gross annual salary between €79,000 and €108,000.
  • FlexBudget, 8% holiday allowance, and bonus or collective profit sharing.

  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 40% of work done at the office and 40% at home.
