This position involves nurturing existing client relationships while acquiring new business for various IT training and certification programs, as well as workforce development solutions targeted at enterprises, corporations, and local government entities. The role is entrepreneurial in nature, requiring the individual to drive regional operations, establish teams, manage client relationships, and set up training facilities along with necessary support functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advocate for academy enterprise learning services solutions to businesses throughout the region.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and execution for the North American market, including go-to-market strategies and target setting.
- Oversee B2B and B2C sales of our IT training and certification offerings, as well as learning products in digital technologies.
- Accountable for revenue targets and profit and loss management for the region, ensuring profitability from both new and existing clients.
- Lead and manage the sales team to efficiently meet established targets.
- Engage in the sales cycle for key prospects and coordinate delivery with the offshore team based in India.
- Develop and maintain executive relationships with key stakeholders in government, enterprise, educational institutions, and other sectors, positioning Xebia as the preferred partner for learning solutions.
- Ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in the sales organization’s planning and forecasting methods.
- Establish and lead a sales and delivery team, collaborating with technology services sales leadership to identify opportunities for synergy.
- Conduct market research to uncover growth opportunities by introducing innovative training programs tailored to local needs and trends in upskilling and reskilling within digital technologies.
- Maintain professional relationships with education and training leaders and subject matter experts to ensure timely engagement and aligned decision-making.
- Stay informed about established technology standards, guidelines, and the latest trends in technology.
Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of EdTech, education, IT training, and certification markets in the USA, Canada, UK, and Europe.
- 10-12 years of sales experience, with recent years preferably in education, IT training, certification, assessments, or professional skill development sectors.
- Exceptional marketing, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with self-motivation and a clear vision for contributing to organizational growth.
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Prior experience engaging with C-level executives, learning and development, HR, technical heads, and functional leaders.
- Commercially minded with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to analyze statistical and financial data with a high level of numeracy.
- Results-oriented with excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
