Seed Production Specialist

As a Crucifer Seed Production Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing Crucifer species seed productions domestically and internationally. Your responsibilities will include supervising small quantities of pre-commercial through commercial seed productions at Hazera's grower network, home farms, or vendors.

Main Objectives

• Manage Crucifer seed productions to achieve good production performance, quantity, quality, and timely completion.
• Support global growers and vendors with necessary information and knowledge.
• Initiate new ways to improve production results, including participating in Production research trials.
• Internal reporting and administration, including coordinating multiple production processes.
• Advising the Crucifers Production manager in building a production plan.
• Following up on production contracts for crop portfolio.
• Monitoring and implementing production protocols.

Requirements

• Agriculture technician (BSc in Agronomy is an advantage).
• Strong affinity with agriculture and technical growing experience (advantage).
• Knowledge of and experience in seed production (advantage).
• MS Office and ERP systems experience.
• Communicative, decisive, team player, and good planning and organizing skills.
• Fluency in English and Dutch language is required.
