Job Title: Seed Production Specialist
Location: Made, the Netherlands
Department: Operations/Production
Reports to: Seed Production Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Seed Production Specialist to join our team at Hazera Seeds. As a Crucifers Seed Production Specialist, you will be responsible for managing Crucifers species seed productions domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and guiding global growers and vendors with required information and knowledge
- Managing all domestic and international stock seeds increases and commercial seed productions
- Initiating new ways and ideas towards improving production results, including participation and development of Production research trials
- Internal reporting and taking care of essential administration
- Coordinating multiple production processes at the same time
- Advising and assisting the Crucifers Production manager in building a production plan
- Following up on production contracts for crop portfolio
- Monitoring, reviewing, and implementing production protocols
Requirements:
- Agriculture technician (BSc in Agronomy is an advantage)
- Strong affinity with agriculture and several years in technical growing experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of/and experience in seed production is an advantage
- Knowledge of/and experience with MS Office, ERP systems
- Communicative, decisive, a team player, good with planning and organizing
- Willing to travel abroad when needed
- Fluency in English & Dutch language is required
