The Global Supply Chain department at Corbion ensures that our products are available to customers at optimal costs through integrated planning.

As the SAP Master Data Steward, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of master data, while also initiating and supporting enhancements. You will handle master data requests as per defined responsibilities, collaborating with various business areas.

Your role will involve gathering master data inputs from multiple departments, including Global Supply Chain, Product Management, Manufacturing Planning, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, and Finance. Close collaboration with IT for master data systems will also be essential.

You will be based in a hybrid work environment, reporting to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the integrity of the material master data process:

  • Create and maintain material master data, ensuring adherence to quality rules and definitions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for material master data, serving as the primary contact for related issues.
  • Oversee the workflow requests for master data, ensuring compliance with data policies and standards.
  • Maintain documentation related to master data processes and systems.
  • Monitor material master data workflows, ensuring timely processing and escalating issues as necessary.

Support initiatives for enhancing material master data:

  • Analyze and manage the quality of material master data.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in data quality and governance workflows.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to enhance data quality.
  • Assist in defining data standards and business rules for master data.
  • Provide reports on material master data as needed.

Manage request handling through master data systems:

  • Maintain databases and ticketing systems related to master data management.
  • Propose enhancements to master data systems to improve efficiency.

Act as a key user for master data systems:

  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures documented through master data systems.
  • Provide support and training to users.

About You

Corbion seeks a proactive Master Data Steward with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain setting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4.
  • Experience with master data systems, ideally SAP MDG.
  • Strong command of the English language; knowledge of Dutch is advantageous.
  • An affinity for data and analytics.
