The Global Supply Chain division plays a crucial role in ensuring product availability while optimizing costs through effective planning.
As the SAP Master Data Steward, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation and maintenance of master data, while also driving improvements in processes. You will handle master data requests as per defined responsibilities, collaborating with various business areas.
Your role involves collecting Master Data inputs from multiple departments, including Global Supply Chain, Product Management, Manufacturing Planning, Quality Assurance, and Finance. You will also work closely with IT to manage master data systems.
This position is based in a hybrid work environment, allowing for partial remote work, and you will report to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the integrity of the material master data process:
- Create and maintain material master data, ensuring compliance with quality standards and conventions.
- Act as a subject matter expert for material master data, serving as the primary contact for related inquiries.
- Oversee the workflow of master data requests, ensuring adherence to data policies and providing final approvals.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of master data processes and associated systems.
- Monitor workflows to ensure timely processing and escalate issues as necessary.
Drive initiatives for material master data enhancement:
- Analyze and manage the quality of material master data.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in data quality and governance workflows.
- Collaborate with experts and process owners to enhance data quality.
- Support the development of data definitions, business rules, and standards.
- Provide reports on material master data as needed.
Manage requests through master data systems:
- Maintain databases and ticketing systems related to master data management.
- Propose enhancements to master data systems to improve efficiency.
Serve as a key user for master data systems:
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures within master data systems.
- Provide support and training to users.
About You
Corbion seeks a proactive Master Data Steward with a mindset focused on continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or supply chain setting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably SAP S/4.
- Experience with master data systems, ideally SAP MDG.
- Strong command of the English language; proficiency in Dutch is advantageous.
- A strong affinity for data and analytics.
