Implementation Manager Ocean Freight Specialist

About the Role
The Implementation Manager Ocean Freight at ASML will oversee a portfolio of ocean freight projects, collaborating closely with global freight teams and internal stakeholders to co-design and implement ocean freight solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing ASML goods flows and processes to identify innovation opportunities aligned with business requirements and sustainability goals.
- Project manage complex ocean freight-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and specification-compliant delivery.
- Provide project reporting on progress, finances, challenges, risk management, and oversight of ocean freight-related projects under your responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and trade management for specific freight projects.
- Work closely with the P&D finance team to ensure financial aspects of the project lifecycle comply with the ASML financial framework and timely financial reporting.
- Closely align with P&D procurement and sourcing to support RFS and RFQ processes.
- Translate ASML business requirements into a long-term sourcing strategy in collaboration with the P&D procurement and sourcing team.
- Present reports and status updates on projects to the freight management team, project board members, and relevant stakeholders as required.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience at a logistics service provider in ocean freight and project or industrial logistics.
- 5+ years of experience designing customized ocean freight solutions delivering on complex and specific customers' business requirements.
- 5+ years of experience running (agile) ocean freight projects at a logistics service provider.
- Project management experience (Prince2 Foundation and/or Prince2 Agile Foundation courses are a plus).
- Experience working in complex multi-cultural business settings.
