Background InformationASML is the world's leading provider of lithography systems for the semiconductor industry. Our machines are critical to the production of integrated circuits or chips. In this internship, you will have the opportunity to work on a project that involves developing and implementing CFD models to improve the performance of our lithography machines.
Your AssignmentYour primary responsibility will be to perform numerical simulations of water flow and wetting behavior inside immersion lithography scanners. You will also be responsible for implementing a subset of turbulence models and supporting your work with proper databasing and documentation.
Requirements- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Applied Physics
- Specialization in Fluid Dynamics
- Proficiency in CFD tooling (STARCCM+, COMSOL, OPENFOAM, BASILISK, etc.)
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
