  • Oversee a high-performing team of 8 Compliance Specialists dedicated to safeguarding Adyen from integrity risks that exceed our risk tolerance;
  • Enhance and monitor Adyen's sophisticated Compliance framework to facilitate its ongoing growth;
  • Initiate and manage projects aimed at effectively expanding Adyen's Compliance processes;
  • Set clear objectives for the team, ensuring their accomplishment through quality execution, while celebrating milestones as we aspire to lead the industry;
  • Collaborate with various departments, including compliance, regulatory, commercial, and operational teams, to align on shared goals and drive collective success;

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of leadership experience, encompassing team mentoring, performance management, and providing essential support;
  • Comprehensive understanding of the regulatory environment in which Adyen operates as a global acquirer;
  • 3+ years of experience in Compliance within the financial services, FinTech, or consultancy sectors;
  • Demonstrated project management skills to guide the team towards long-term objectives;
  • Strong analytical and communication abilities to navigate and clarify complex situations effectively;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders from diverse backgrounds;

This role requires a commitment to excellence and a passion for compliance in a dynamic environment.
