Job Title: Programme/Project Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme/Project Controller to join our team at the European Space Agency in Noordwijk (ESTEC). As a Programme/Project Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up of projects/programmes activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Assist in preparing, developing, and maintaining programme-level plans, including work/procurement plans and execution and contract actions plans.
  • Project Monitoring and Control: Monitor the implementation of programmes and activities, prepare related reports, and provide management information as required.
  • Resource Management: Assist in the preparation of long-term, medium-term, and in-year resource plans, monitor and control the implementation of plans in line with resource targets, and perform forecasting and identifying deviations.
  • Procurement and Contract Management: Support the preparation and follow-up of tender actions, proposal evaluations, and financial contract commitments.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's in Engineering or equivalent, or MBA or equivalent University degree from a recognised Institution of secondary studies or equivalent qualification in Business Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in controlling and/or management of activities and resources in aerospace industry.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken, knowledge of another official ESA language is an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Highly proficient in the use of modern activities and resource management support tools/databases of standard office automation support software packages, including advanced usage of Excel.
