Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme/Project Manager to join our team at HE Space. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and reporting all aspects of a busy Division, covering Technology, Laboratories, TEC Activities, Manpower planning, Travel budget planning, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Control and report on all aspects of a busy Division, including Technology, Laboratories, TEC Activities, Manpower planning, and Travel budget planning.
  • Resolve issues and implement corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.
  • Take responsibility for reporting progress and end-of-year budget landing point predictions on a selected Program at Department Level.
  • Contribute to a continuous process improvement and regular interfacing with line management, stakeholders, and dedicated Service Providers.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent, or MBA or equivalent University degree from a recognized Institution of secondary studies, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration.
  • A minimum of 4 years relevant experience, such as project controller, is required.
  • Previous experience/knowledge of the Agency activities would be a distinctive advantage.
  • Ability to readily assimilate and coordinate input data and providing timely output.
  • Reliability, rigor, and initiative in the execution of the assigned tasks.
  • Excellent analytical, organization, and reporting skills together with a proactive attitude to solving problems and proficiency with IT tools.
  • Previous experience working with SAP and relevant Agency's corporate applications and/or ESA IT Tools would be an asset.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
