- Effective Communication: Communicate financial challenges, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders.
- Process Optimization: Ensure that financial processes are regularly reviewed, updated, and adapted to meet the evolving needs of a dynamic organization.
- Preparing reports, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis and reporting to senior management of all costs and financial data for the projects you work on.
- Monitoring and challenging project expenditures and deliveries on assigned programs/products.
- Evaluating, monitoring, and implementing policies, practices, and functional performance standards.
- Supporting annual budgets, business plans, and forecasts preparation.
- Supporting the preparation and presentation of our bids as a key member of the bid team.
- Ensuring financial integrity and adherence to processes (Chorus 2.0).
- Supporting internal improvement and change projects.
- Being a team player on various organizational levels.
You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or a strongly related field. Relevant work experience is appreciated. You have an affinity with technical processes and a good knowledge of MS Office. You have the ability to understand complex processes and demonstrate a strong financial acumen.
You have excellent communication skills (English and Dutch, French would be appreciated), including the ability to convey complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner to diverse audiences. You are curious by nature and can grow into a professional role as a business partner. You can show agility and resilience in navigating change and ambiguity, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a continuous improvement mindset.
Knowledge of ERP-systems (Oracle/SAP...) is a big advantage.
