Business Solutions Manager for Project Control

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Controller to join our team at Thales Nederland. The successful candidate will serve as the primary financial advisor and partner for the operations within their designated scope.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide insightful financial guidance to support decision-making within the area of responsibility.
  • Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to projects and initiatives within the scope.
  • Play an integral role in driving finance-related improvements and collaborating cross-functionally to enhance processes and systems.
  • Communicate financial challenges, insights, and recommendations clearly and effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure that financial processes are regularly reviewed and adapted to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Main Tasks

  • Preparing reports, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis and reporting to senior management of all costs and financial data for the projects worked on.
  • Monitoring and challenging project expenditures and deliveries on assigned programs/products.
  • Evaluating, monitoring, and implementing policies, practices, and functional performance standards.
  • Supporting annual budgets, business plans, and forecasts preparation.
  • Supporting the preparation and presentation of bids as a key member of the bid team.
  • Ensuring financial integrity and adherence to processes.
  • Supporting internal improvement and change projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or strongly related to Finance.
  • Relevant work experience is appreciated.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Excellent communication skills (English and Dutch, French is appreciated).
  • Ability to understand complex processes and demonstrate a strong financial acumen.
  • Knowledge of ERP-systems (Oracle/SAP) is a big advantage.
