Deputy Product Manager for Legacy Fire Control Systems

The Product Manager Legacy Fire Control is a key position within Thales Netherlands, responsible for 10+ fire control products after production phase-out. This role requires leadership skills and direct contact with Navies and their maintenance organizations, as well as stakeholders such as sales directors, specialty engineers, configuration managers, and fellow legacy product managers.
Main Responsibilities- Synthesize installed base trends with hardware/software upgrades and updates, training, overhaul, and on-board/on-site support while guarding appropriate funding, value price, and target costs.
- Own all baselined product documentation and evidence, product pricing, and marketing content.
- Anticipate system availability and readiness with services propositions turning into orders for spares, repairs, and in-service support contracts (ISS).
- Build up-to-date product plans and prepare and plan appropriate, timely decision reviews throughout the full life cycle, considering overall customer satisfaction and product line profitability goals.
- Play an important role in bids and unites with the Sales department, supporting tender building and the preparation of the commercial process, validating tender compliance with product policy, and bridging gaps.
- A recognized professional on naval solutions with solid business acumen.
- An ability to engage easily with various stakeholders in the Naval domain.
- A clear vision for taking fire control to the next level, preferably built on naval, operational experience.
- Technical understanding of fire control systems and weapon systems.
- Mastery of business case modeling to optimize product policy investment decisions.
- A strong self-direction with a high level of commitment and drive.
- A Master's degree in a relevant area.
- The ability to drive and implement change, applying the Thales Leadership Profile.
