The Team:
The role of Lead Business Transformation Consultant serves as a trusted advisor, assisting clients in achieving their strategic objectives and realizing substantial value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. A Value Engineer is accountable for the comprehensive value journey of our clients – from initiation to expansion, adoption, and renewal. Key responsibilities include translating client goals into value assessments or proof-of-concept projects, constructing tailored Celonis business cases and demonstrations, facilitating value workshops, and engaging with multiple senior stakeholders to deliver results driven by value and secure enduring partnership agreements.
The Role:
As a Lead Value Engineer, you will champion our mission of data-driven business transformation alongside our clients. You will collaborate with the Celonis Sales Teams and hold full accountability for the entire value journey of our clients. You are a trusted advisor to our clients, helping them achieve their strategic objectives and realize significant value through the Celonis Process Intelligence Platform. In partnership with our collaborators and Celonis Services, you will drive measurable business impact across various processes and sectors, accelerating the adoption of our platform. You will combine deep process and industry knowledge with a proven consulting skill set and strong analytical capabilities at the forefront of one of the fastest-growing technology firms globally.
The work you'll do:
Identify & Frame Value
Discover and translate clients' strategic priorities into high-impact Celonis use cases. Develop demonstrations and business cases, utilizing industry benchmarks and best practices to attract new clients. Conduct Value Assessments or Proof-of-Value Projects and communicate the value opportunity and strategic roadmap to C-Level executives.Realize Value
Lead business value workshops and utilize Celonis to identify and qualify opportunities for process enhancement. Derive improvement measures in core business functions and initiate improvement actions and enterprise-wide change initiatives. Present outcomes and realized value to senior management and C-level executives.Scale Value
Oversee the complete customer value journey, including initiation, expansion, adoption, and renewal. Develop a strategic expansion roadmap for clients, embedding Celonis Process Intelligence as a pivotal business transformation platform within their organization, thereby driving adoption and growth. Provide insights to our product development teams to enhance the Celonis platform and applications based on emerging use cases.The qualifications you need:
Passion for Customer Value: 6+ years of experience in an analytical role aimed at demonstrating or securing value through business data analysis, business process enhancement, and relevant software deployment. Ideally in a client-facing role in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or IT/Management Consulting with a Business Software / SaaS Provider or a Consultancy. Alternatively, in an in-house role (e.g., Center of Excellence for Data Mining / Analytics / Intelligence) within an Enterprise. Data, Analytics, Applications & IT: Proficient knowledge of Business Software / SaaS applications (e.g., SAP), experience with implementing RPA and/or BI Tools and/or developing Dashboards, Applications, and Action Flows. Familiarity with Python and/or SQL. Experience in collaborating with IT teams. Process Improvement & Value Realization: Proven experience in identifying use cases for business process enhancement and executing improvement measures, acting as a change agent and training users/process owners to realize value. Project Management: Experience in planning and managing project scopes, expectations, and timelines. You will oversee multiple projects across your aligned accounts that will be at various stages of the value journey. Additionally, you will leverage partners from the Celonis Ecosystem whenever feasible. Executive Stakeholder Management: Experience in preparing and communicating (value) roadmaps and results to stakeholders and management, both internally and externally. Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with fluency in Dutch being a plus. Business Domain Expertise: Understanding of the Finance and/or Supply Chain domain as well as strategic transformation initiatives (e.g., Shared Services Transformation or System Transformation). Industry Expertise: Ideally, expertise in one or more industries (e.g., Manufacturing, Automotive, Consumer, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals) and the ability to develop a deep understanding of industry trends and strategic opportunities.
