Risk Modelling Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Risk Modelling Team Lead to join our team at ABN AMRO. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of quantitative analysts in the redevelopment of credit risk models for various lending portfolios.
The role involves taking end-responsibility for the redevelopment of PD, LGD and EAD models in line with the Future Model Landscape planning of the bank, as well as managing the team to deliver the redeveloped models in line with regulatory requirements and the bank's quality standards.
In addition to technical expertise, the ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, able to connect easily with stakeholders at different levels of seniority and foster a good collaboration with stakeholders in business and risk.
About the TeamABN AMRO Risk Modelling is a young and international team of over 150 professionals, working together to develop quantitative risk models used by the bank in its daily decisions.
The team enjoys intellectual challenges and has a mentality of rolling up our sleeves to get the job done, seeking out collaboration to maximize the usability and positive impact of our work for the bank.
Your Profile- You have a master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field.
- You have over 8 years of experience working in a financial environment, in quantitative roles.
- You have over 3 years of experience in a senior or managerial role.
- You speak and write English fluently.
- You are an effective communicator, able to connect easily with stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
- You have thorough knowledge of banking and credit risk.
- You have thorough knowledge of rules and regulations and regulatory trends relevant for credit risk modelling (Basel, CRR, etc).
- You have experience in working with DNB/ECB through communication and on-site inspections.
- A competitive gross monthly salary based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
