Job Title: Strategic Buyer

At ANDRITZ, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Buyer to join our team. As a Strategic Buyer, you will play a critical role in developing and managing regional supply chains to support our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies for managed categories, analyzing current suppliers and market opportunities to drive business objectives.
  • Source equipment and services, negotiate contracts, and build relationships with key suppliers to enhance added value.
  • Manage sustainability and compliance of suppliers, monitoring adherence to contractual agreements and driving total cost of ownership reduction.
  • Represent the Supply Chain area in project execution teams and execute operational procurement activities.
  • Provide support and coordination to other areas of the organization regarding managed suppliers and categories.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Supply Chain Management or strategic sourcing positions in an international industrial environment.
  • Industrial sector experience in Automotive, energy, wind, rail, or marine machinery is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other procurement information systems, with a strong understanding of category strategy development and management.
  • English and Dutch language proficiency on a professional level.
