Strategic Procurement Specialist

At ANDRITZ, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Buyer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for developing and managing regional supply chains to support our business strategy.

• Develop and implement category strategies for managed categories, analyzing current suppliers and market opportunities to drive business objectives.
• Source equipment and services on the market, understanding and assessing specifications and needs of stakeholders, and proposing best suppliers to become ANDRITZ preferred suppliers.
• Negotiate and contract agreements with suppliers in line with targets and company needs, building and managing relationships to enhance added value.
• Manage sustainability and compliance of suppliers over the life of the contract, monitoring both ANDRITZ and supplier adherence to contractual agreements.
• Drive total cost of ownership reduction through joint process improvements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent the Supply Chain area in project execution teams and execute all supply chain management-related project activities.
• Execute operational procurement activities and appropriate procurement administrative processes related to the order-to-pay process for purchased equipment and services in ANDRITZ SAP and other tools.
• Provide necessary support and coordination to other areas of the organization regarding managed suppliers and categories.
• Manage the implementation of Safety and Environmental requirements within the ANDRITZ supplier base.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in an international industrial environment in Supply Chain Management or strategic sourcing positions.
• Industrial sector experience in Automotive, energy, wind, rail, or marine machinery is preferred.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SAP and other procurement information systems, with knowledge of SRM, Quots, and CoQ.
• English and Dutch language proficiency on a professional level.

Minimum Business Administration or Supply Chain Management education, with a desirable SCM or Strategic Sourcing education.
