About the Opportunity

Trouw Nutrition is seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Manager to lead our business development efforts in Central Asia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and executing business opportunities in the region, driving growth and expansion of our existing businesses, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, working closely with the Export Director to set goals and targets.
  • Business Growth: Grow and expand existing businesses by executing sales plans and developing new business opportunities in accordance with set objectives and targets.
  • Negotiation Leadership: Lead negotiations and coordinate complex decision-making processes to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Customer Solutions: Identify and initiate innovative solutions to meet customer needs and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Client Relationship Management: Establish and build strong client relationships, ensuring continuity, ongoing representation, and profitability.
  • Competitive Monitoring: Monitor competitive activity in each account and formulate and communicate appropriate response strategies.
  • Marketing Coordination: Organize customized customer seminars and coordinate targeted marketing activities to drive business growth and expansion.

Qualification and Experience

  • Education: University education in Veterinary or Agriculture.
  • Sales Experience: Several years of sales and account management experience, with a proven track record of driving business growth and expansion.
  • Value Selling: Experience with value selling and designing account development strategies.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
  • Team Player: Strong negotiation, presentation, contractual, and legal skills.
  • Business Acumen: In-depth understanding of business environments and sales financials.
  • Energy and Enthusiasm: High level of energy, engagement, and enthusiasm.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Travel: Ability and willingness to travel internationally 50% of the time.
