As a member of our esteemed hospitality team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our discerning guests at the Le Camelia restaurant and room service.

Job Description

  • Serving our guests during their stay in Hotel Okura Amsterdam according to our high standards;
  • Focusing on guest contact and ensuring a memorable dining experience;
  • Performing daily tasks for mise en place to maintain our impeccable standards;
  • Taking care of minibars and replenishing them as needed;
  • Collaborating with Guest Relations to arrange VIP treatments.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a similar position and/or business is an advantage;
  • Flexibility regarding shifts is essential, including different times such as 15:00 – 23:00 and 17:00 - 01:00;
  • Living in or near Amsterdam is preferred;
  • A good command of Dutch and/or English language (both spoken and written) is required;
  • We require a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) and minimum two positive references as part of our pre-employment screening.

What We Offer

  • Contract duration of 7 months with the possibility of extension;
  • Salary group 3, click for salary scale information;
  • Bonus scheme offering 1 month's salary when we reach the target GOP level and you receive a minimum total score in your yearend evaluation;
  • 8% holiday allowance (pro rata);
  • 25 vacation days per year (pro rata);

  • Study budget of €1.000;
  • A staff gift, an overnight stay with breakfast, after completing the probationary period.

Location

Hotel Okura Amsterdam offers an attractive location, making it easy to access various parts of the city.

Estimated Salary Range: €22,500 - €28,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
