About the Role

The Network Account Manager (NAM) Specialty Care is responsible for strategically positioning Pfizer and its Immunology and Immunology brands as a partner who accelerates the transition to a patient-centered, sustainable healthcare system. The NAM Specialty Care designs and implements account plans for assigned strategic accounts, reflecting 1-3 year business objectives ensuring access for patients to the product portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
  • Segmentation and targeting of customers, including decision-making and influencing networks for recently introduced brands and indications.
  • Detailing of assigned products to prescribers, based on customer and product lifecycle needs.
  • Connecting and communicating multiple insights from various stakeholders to develop an account plan of action. This insight will be shared with the CBLs and other relevant colleagues.
  • Disseminating information via multi- and omnichannel communication in the customer target group via the customer preferred channel.
  • Ensuring customer service and support by engaging with customers through both in-person and virtual interactions.
  • Ensuring objectives of the accounts are met. Problem-solving complex account/institution challenges.
  • Proactively engaging with strategically positioned stakeholders within Specialty Care and other relevant stakeholders to build smart coalitions around a therapeutic/value proposition.
  • The NAM thinks beyond customer demands and needs and is a trusted advisor within the accounts.
  • Responding to customer requests by connecting with cross-functional teams to provide responses and input.
  • Arranging meetings to support communication and education related to our disease areas and brands.
  • Bringing customers together to progress areas of mutual interest related to our therapy areas (e.g., to establish and optimize cross-sectoral and cross-specialty referral structures).
  • Complying and adhering to legal and financial policies, relevant procedures, and agreed timelines of the organization.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences and 7+ years of relevant sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferably as an Account Manager) with an existing customer network.
  • Or master's degree in life sciences and 6 years of relevant Specialty Care sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry with an existing customer network.
  • Driving license.
  • Fluent in the Dutch language and good working language in English.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to understand the effects of the external environment on the fundamental drivers of the strategic accounts and their implications on our business; knowledge of the healthcare environment and specifically with regards to relevant products and accounts.
  • The ability to challenge and discuss (un)conventional business solutions with internal and external stakeholders with the aim of establishing added value creation and a patient-centered sustainable healthcare environment.
  • The ability to build and maintain account relationships and excellent insight regarding the Decision Making Unit and the overarching networks impacting these accounts.
  • The ability to transfer from transactional to strategic relationships with shared objectives.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and influence stakeholders. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and listening skills.
  • Result-driven and strong drive for commercial results.
  • The ability to perform and prioritize effectively in stressful circumstances and request timely assistance when required.
  • Team player and leadership without authority - capability to ensure colleagues are actively contributing to the account objectives.
  • The ability to set up and implement the strategic (key) account planning according to the milestones.
