PGIM Fixed Income | Institutional Client Advisory Sales Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Sales Support Specialist to join our Institutional Client Advisory team in Amsterdam. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of Benelux and Nordics prospects and clients, providing day-to-day support to our Senior Client Advisors, and directly engaging with internal resources and partners to assist with the closing of institutional sales and the deepening and widening of relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop asset class knowledge and a solid understanding of PGIM Fixed Income strategies, processes, resources, and capabilities.
  • Develop an understanding of the local regulatory regimes within the Benelux and Nordics and how these influence different investor behavior and decision-making.
  • Interface with a wide range of business partners and stakeholders across PGIMFI, including Client Advisory Group, Product and Marketing, Investment, Compliance, and Operations.
  • Support Client Advisors with ongoing sales and sales-related communication with existing clients and prospects.
  • Assist in the coordination of meetings with internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Prepare materials providing background on institutional prospects, including bios, plan details, company/market challenges, existing managers and strategies, etc., to help best identify opportunities and position PGIMFI for future growth.
  • Write-up meeting notes, ensuring all notes are uploaded to CRM/Salesforce and support meeting follow-up actions.
  • Champion maintenance of client data, sales pipeline, client mapping, and create custom reports for distribution and event invitation lists via the Client Relationship System (Salesforce).
  • Partner with the Marketing team to support the coordination and preparation of client/prospect events.
  • Attend occasional industry association meetings and related conferences.
  • Conduct external research and data analysis to provide market intelligence to support new sales initiatives and guide the strategic direction of our sales efforts.
