We are seeking a skilled Scala developer to join our team at DPG Media. As a Scala developer, you will play a key role in building and maintaining our cutting-edge recruitment advertising technology.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient microservices using Scala and ZIO.
- Collaborate with our team to integrate with third-party advertisement platforms and internal APIs.
- Develop and maintain client-facing and internal APIs using REST, gRPC, or Kafka.
- Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our services.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our codebase.
- Bachelor's degree or greater in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of experience in OOP/FP (Java/Scala) to demonstrate a level of maturity.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Event Sourcing or CQRS is a plus.
- Comfortable working with AWS or other cloud environments.
- An experience-based salary.
- 36-hour workweek.
- 12% personal choice budget (of which 8% is holiday allowance).
