Supermicro is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to support Custom Build / 4Way / 8Way product lines for storage PCBAs products with strong background in manufacturing and testing.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with production engineers, quality engineers, contract manufacturers, production line, and development team to improve the quality of storage PCBA products.
- Work with development team to support production line for new product testing setup.
- Resolve issues in daily production, identify root cause, and improve quality.
- Enable new products launch successfully with product managers.
- Provide high-level customer technical support and training to lower-level technical supporting personnel.
- Conduct tests and adjust test parameters for product benchmark and enhance system performance.
- Collaborate across functions including engineering, purchasing, and production.
- Create technical product requirements for cloud/data center infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements, industry trends, and business.
- Engage with customers at various levels to convey capabilities and vision, and understand their challenges and requirements.
- Escalate critical issues to high-level management and vendors for solution as needed.
- Provide product trainings to internal teams, sales teams, and customers.
- Provide 3rd-level customer support as needed.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in PCBA test and manufacturing field.
- Expert knowledge in server hardware.
- Familiar with PCBA manufacturing processes and testing methodology.
- Understanding of DFM, DFT, DFA, and DFX methodology.
- In-depth Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Networking, and Storage.
- Solid experiences in server and storage system architecture and relevant computer peripherals.
- Knowledge of current IT solutions specifically in the server business industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work in a self-directed environment.
- Excellent capacity to learn and gain skills on new topics fast.
- Communication and presentation skill in English is a must, able to communicate effectively with customers to promote, answer questions, and receive feedback.
- Dutch and/or Mandarin is a plus.
