Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a highly skilled System Product Engineer/Manager to enable European pre-sales and post-sales system solutions activities. The ideal candidate will support Sales/FAE for standard server products, promote HPC application servers, and provide support to define customer requirements, develop and drive localized/customized server products to full product life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales/FAE for standard server products and promote HPC application servers.
  • Provide support to define customer requirements, develop and drive localized/customized server products to full product life cycle.
  • Sales training and webinar for EMEA customers.
  • Provide solution and configure for customers' RFP.
  • Support marketing trade show and Innovate EMEA booth duties.
  • Lead cross-function teams for post-sales supports such as RMA, failure analysis, ECO implementations, etc.
  • Provide documentation and technical know-how to support Standard and OEM system production lines.
  • Work with managers to define department future plans.

Requirements:

  • Technical background and education: BS or MS in Engineering or Physical Science.
  • 7+ years of Computer Systems Technology or related experience.
  • Available to travel for 1/2 weeks on business trip 3-5 times a year.
  • Experienced in configuring server systems or OEM business for electronic appliances.
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership to provide full project support.
  • Superior communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in English required, additional languages (Dutch, German, French, Mandarin, etc.) preferred.
  • Able to work flexible hours engaging European teams, and US team conference call.
