Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at AMOLF, a leading research institute in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will work on understanding the fundamental limits and opportunities of cooperative sensing in optical systems, leveraging the most innovative ideas in stochastic thermodynamics, biophysics, and nonlinear optics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on cooperative sensing in optical systems, exploring the potential benefits and limitations of this approach.
  • Collaborate with researchers from the Interacting Photons group, Biochemical Networks, and Systems Biology groups to advance our understanding of cooperative sensing.
  • Develop and implement novel experimental and theoretical methods to investigate cooperative sensing phenomena.
  • Present research findings at international conferences and publish papers in top-tier scientific journals.
Requirements
  • PhD degree in physics or a closely related field.
  • Research experience in optics, biophysics, or a related field.
  • Strong background in stochastic thermodynamics, nonlinear optics, and statistical physics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
