About the Position

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team at AMOLF, a leading research institute in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will work on understanding the fundamental limits and opportunities of cooperative sensing in optical systems.

The project involves a collaboration with members of the Biochemical Networks and Systems Biology groups, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in optics, stochastic thermodynamics, and nonlinear optics.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on cooperative sensing in optical systems
  • Develop and implement novel experimental and theoretical methods
  • Collaborate with other researchers in the group and at AMOLF
  • Present research results at international conferences and publish in top-tier journals
Requirements
  • PhD degree in physics or a closely related field
  • Strong background in optics, stochastic thermodynamics, and nonlinear optics
  • Excellent experimental and theoretical skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
