High-Tech Internship in Applied Physics

Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled intern to join our team at ASML, a global leader in the development of lithography machines for the semiconductor industry. As an intern in our EUV Dose Control group, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects that involve developing efficient methods for navigating and converting dose control hardware data archives into MATLAB files.

Your Assignment

Your primary responsibility will be to develop an efficient method to convert dose control hardware data archives into MATLAB files that can be easily processed and analyzed. Additionally, you will be responsible for formulating test cases to perform quick and easy verification of dose control functions, methods, and signal quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master student in (applied) Physics, Data Science, or a related field
  • Experience with parallel computing
  • Knowledge of testing automation (e.g. Jenkins) and handling of large datasets
  • Great understanding of MATLAB and knowledge of (or an interest in learning) Python
  • Great communication skills in English both verbally and in writing
