Logistics Representative Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Representative to join our team at Specialized Europe B.V. in 's-Heerenberg. As a Logistics Representative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and products within our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming product flow, including PO and ASN maintenance, to ensure accurate receipt at the warehouse.
  • Conduct thorough checks on documentation for all incoming shipments and provide digital and physical files to 3PL.
  • Book all inbound shipments in our system and follow up with 3PL/Vendors on any exceptions.
  • Manage inventory control within our system and chase up on 3PL counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with demand planning and sales teams to prioritize products and optimize inventory levels.
  • Communicate with import partners to resolve any missing or incorrect information.
  • Identify and resolve custom bottlenecks in the inbound and outbound flow.
  • Support the VAT & Duty team in INF requests and work closely with them to resolve any issues.
  • Work with warehouse partners to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.
  • Optimize the outbound process to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
  • Investigate discrepancies across the logistic flow, identify root causes, and drive resolution.
Requirements:
  • MBO+ / HBO background in logistics-related fields.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent Excel skills.
  • Able to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of organization.
  • Experience with import processes is a plus.
